• California - 31% of total U.S. Hispanic population (Primarily Mexican & 9% Central American)
• Texas - 19% (83% Mexican)
• Florida - 8% (41% Cuban)
• New York - 8%
• New Jersey - 3%
• NY and New Jersey are divided among Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, and South Americans
• Illinois - 4% (Primarily Mexican)
• 75% of population either speaks English exclusively or is Bi- Lingual
